Description
Furosemide is used for its fast action and potency in all species for the treatment of: edemas such as post-traumatic, post-surgery, lung edemas or related to hepatopathies, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, etc.
Small animals: it is indicated for the treatment of congestive cardiomyopathies, edema, uremia, as a part of therapy in cases of hyperkalemia and, occasionally, as a hypotensive agent.
Cattle: it is indicated for the treatment of udder edema. It helps to prevent or reduce epistaxis (exercise-induced lung hemorrhage) in racing horses.
